'I care about immigration': JD Vance reacts to MAGA infighting over defeat in New York, New Jersey, Virginia; says it's idiotic to overreact

JD Vance asks MAGA not to overreact to the GOP’s defeat in New York, New Jersey and Virginia elections.

Vice President JD Vance issued a three-point memo to the party supporters which were also his observations after the Republican Party had to bite the dust in the mayoral election in New York City and the Governor election in New Jersey and Virginia. The elections were held just a year after the presidential election in which the GOP secured a thumping victory. As MAGA implodes with their explanations on what changed in just one year that voters turned towards the Democratic Party, Vance said it’s idiotic to overract to a couple of elections in blue states. As MAGA influencers’ anti-India rhetoric was being blamed for Indian-American voters turning away from the GOP, Vance said: “I care about immigration”.

JD Vance’s Hindu Wife Usha To Convert After Vice President’s Pitch? US Expert’s Big Reveal

“The infighting is stupid. I care about my fellow citizens–particularly young Americans–being able to afford a decent life, I care about immigration and our sovereignty, and I care about establishing peace overseas so our resources can be focused at home. If you care about those things too, let’s work together,” Vance said. “We need to focus on the home front. The president has done a lot that has already paid off in lower interest rates and lower inflation, but we inherited a disaster from Joe Biden and Rome wasn’t built in a day. We’re going to keep on working to make a decent life affordable in this country, and that’s the metric by which we’ll ultimately be judged in 2026 and beyond,” the Vice President added.

JD Vance on immigration

JD Vance is known for his tough stand on immigration, which recently became controversial as a student asked him at the TPUSA event why they sold the American Dream to people and are now trying to take it back. “Just because one person or ten people or a hundred people came in illegally and contributed to the US, does that mean that we are thereby committed to let in a million or ten million or a hundred million people a year in the future? No, that’s not right,” he said, adding that he will always put America First.
