Popular Twitch streamer LilyPichu has reached a new milestone after being revealed as the voice of D.Mon, one of Overwatch’s newest heroes. The streamer is known for her gaming, music, art, and variety content and has built a huge audience on Twitch. Now, she is adding voice acting to her growing list of skills. Overwatch officially confirmed LilyPichu’s role through social media, while the streamer also shared her excitement about becoming part of the popular Blizzard game.

Overwatch officially announced LilyPichu as the voice actor behind D.Mon while promoting the game’s newest comic, “Growing Pains.”The announcement was shared on X, where Overwatch introduced LilyPichu and invited fans to hear her read the new comic. The official post said:“Behind every great squad is a leader who won’t quit. Join LilyPichu, the voice actor behind D.Mon, for a reading of our newest comic, ‘Growing Pains.’”LilyPichu also celebrated the news on her own X account. She shared artwork showing herself alongside D.Mon and excitedly wrote:“it’s me! I voice D.Mon in Overwatch!! HOW COOL IS THAT!!!”The new role gives LilyPichu a chance to show a different side of her talents. While many fans know her mainly as a streamer, she has already worked as a voice actor in several video games.

Fans got to hear more of LilyPichu’s work in a video connected to the “Growing Pains” comic. The story gives players a closer look at D.Mon and her role in the MEKA Squad.The comic also focuses on D.Mon’s doubts about becoming a leader after D.Va leaves the team. This gives fans more information about D.Mon’s personality and her place in the Overwatch story.LilyPichu did more than simply voice D.Mon during the comic reading. She also performed the voices of several other MEKA Squad members, including Casino, Overlord, and King. She even voiced D.Va during the reading.This allowed fans to hear how different LilyPichu can sound when playing different characters. Members of the Overwatch community praised her performance and said they were impressed by the difference between her normal speaking voice and her D.Mon voice.LilyPichu is not new to video game voice acting. She has previously voiced characters such as Sayu in Genshin Impact, Joddy in MapleStory 2, Chang’e in SMITE, and U-Official in Arknights.
