Popular YouTuber JiDion has ended his partnership with predator hunter Alex Rosen after Rosen donated money toward controversial streamer ChudTheBuilder’s bond. The decision has quickly become one of the biggest talking points across YouTube, X, and streaming communities this week. JiDion announced the split in a June 4 video titled This Is The End. In the video, he explained that Alex Rosen’s decision to financially support ChudTheBuilder, whose real name is Dalton Eatherly, was something he could no longer stand behind. JiDion said he believes the money could have been used to help people instead of supporting someone facing serious criminal allegations. The controversy comes as Dalton Eatherly remains jailed in Tennessee. According to reports, he is facing charges connected to a shooting incident outside a Tennessee courthouse in May 2026. His bond was reportedly set at about $1 million. After news of Rosen’s donation became public, JiDion decided to publicly distance himself from his longtime collaborator.

Why JiDion ended his partnership with Alex Rosen after the ChudTheBuilder bond donation

For months, JiDion and Alex Rosen worked together on predator hunting investigations that attracted millions of views online. Their videos were widely shared and helped bring more attention to Rosen’s work exposing alleged child predators. However, the partnership also faced criticism. Some viewers had previously raised concerns about Alex Rosen’s comments and public views. In his June 4 video, JiDion admitted he was aware of some of those concerns before. He said he believed he could positively influence Rosen and hoped their work together would lead to growth and change.Looking back, JiDion acknowledged that some viewers who questioned the partnership had valid concerns. He also apologized to people who felt he ignored those warnings.Even though the partnership has ended, JiDion explained that limited communication with Rosen may still happen because some past investigations could involve ongoing legal matters. The announcement triggered strong reactions online. Many supporters praised JiDion for drawing a clear line and standing by his principles. Others argued that supporting ChudTheBuilder conflicted with the message behind predator hunting content. At the same time, some critics said JiDion should have ended the partnership sooner. They argued that concerns about Rosen had been public for years and questioned why this specific incident became the breaking point. For now, JiDion says he plans to continue predator hunting content on his own. Meanwhile, Alex Rosen remains under heavy criticism for his support of Dalton Eatherly. As debate continues across social media, one of the internet’s most talked-about creator partnerships appears to be over.
