‘He’s flying around in a corporate jet’: Vivek Ramaswamy’s rival says he’s not running for Governor; ‘Let’s be honest’

'He's flying around in a corporate jet': Vivek Ramaswamy's rival says he's not running for Governor; 'Let's be honest'

Dr Amy Acton, the Democratic governor candidate for Ohio, said her rival Vivek Ramaswamy, is not running for the governor position. “He’s running for the presidency. Let’s just be honest,” Acton said on a podcast a few days ago, adding that Ramaswamy is hardly spending any time in Ohio. “He’s flying around in a corporate jet, from Columbus to Cincinnati. Can’t go the 90 minutes on 71. And we are going around in an old Jeep,” Acton said. This comes as MAGA has isolated Ramaswamy and is now pitching for his defeat in the Ohio election, one year away from now, only because of his Indian origin. Ramaswamy became a soft target in MAGA after he expressed his stance on H-1B and criticized American culture to explain why tech companies need high-skilled foreigners. This did not go down well with the MAGA.After socialist Zohran Mamdani’s win in the New York mayor election, Ramaswamy issued a warning for the Republicans and said the defeat for the GOP shows that the party must shun identity politics, rise above race, religion, color of people and focus on issues that people are facing. Ramaswamy said though Mamdani’s solutions are horrendous, he raised the issue of affordability which the GOP has the best solution. Vivek’s sermonizing again upset the MAGA and they raised a demand for changing the GOP candidate for Ohio unless the party wants to lose the seat. One outlier poll also projected that Amy Acton has more favorability now than Ramaswamy, though Ramaswamy has bagged major endorsements. Trump asserted that there will be no change in the candidate and Vivek Ramaswamy will remain the GOP candidate. “I know Vivek well, competed against him, and he is something SPECIAL. He is Young, Strong, and Smart! Vivek is also a very good person, who truly loves our country,” said Trump. “As your next Governor, Vivek will fight tirelessly to Grow the Economy, Cut Taxes and Regulations, Promote MADE IN THE USA, Champion American Energy DOMINANCE, Keep our now very Secure Border, SECURE, Stop Migrant Crime, Strengthen our Military/Veterans, Ensure LAW AND ORDER, Advance Election Integrity, and Protect our always under siege Second Amendment,” Trump posted in a out-of-turn endorsement for Vivek.
