‘Give me one last chance’: Indian man confronted in UK over alleged grooming of 14-year-old girl

'Give me one last chance': Indian man confronted in UK over alleged grooming of 14-year-old girl

Indian man being confronted by a group

A viral video circulating on social media appears to show an Indian man being confronted by a group of self-styled “British patriots” in the United Kingdom over allegations that he attempted to sexually groom a 14-year-old girl online. The man is seen apologising and repeatedly asking for a second chance during the encounter. The man, identified in the footage as 27-year-old Pravna Bhatt, is seen apologising and repeatedly pleading for forgiveness during the confrontation. In the video, which has been widely shared across social media platforms, Bhatt could be heard saying, “This is the first time I have done this, and it will be the last time. Please give me one last chance.” ” According to media reports, Bhatt moved to the UK three years ago on a student visa and later remained in the country on a post-study visa after completing his education at the University of Leeds.During the confrontation, Bhatt appears to acknowledge sending messages to the account. The authenticity of the exchanges could not be independently verified. The group confronting him also alleges that he attempted to arrange a meeting and asked the girl for money to book a hotel room.In several moments captured on camera, Bhatt is seen visibly distressed and asking the group not to involve the police. It remains unclear whether any formal complaint has been filed or whether UK authorities are investigating the matter. The video does not establish whether the account belonged to an actual minor or was part of a decoy operation. No official statement from police regarding the incident was immediately available. The video has sparked online discussion around similar cases that have surfaced in the UK in recent months. Earlier this year, another viral video showed an Indian national, Gureet Jeetesh, being confronted in Coventry over alleged online interactions with underage individuals before his arrest by police.
