Asmongold slams Twitch moderation and predicts someone will “get shot” on stream
Asmongold’s frustration came to a head after the controversial streamer Nina Lin confessed to stealing from Target during a livestream, despite already being suspended for inappropriate conduct on Twitch. Calling her a “low-functioning psychopath” and accusing her of promoting “anti-social, destructive, obnoxious behavior,” he argued the platform is actively rewarding harmful broadcasts. “Eventually, what’s going to happen is you are going to have somebody get shot on stream,” he warned. “Somebody’s going to get beat up. If it’s the streamer, I guarantee you, nobody’s going to care. And when that happens, it’s completely on Twitch.”According to Asmongold, a deadly incident wouldn’t be surprising, it would be the result of inaction.
