Ex-Biden adviser condemns Indian-origin ‘Sheela Murthy’s kick Trump’ speech; says violence is not the answer

Ex-Biden adviser condemns Indian-origin 'Sheela Murthy's kick Trump' speech; says violence is not the answer

As the purported video of Indian-origin immigration attorney Sheela Murthy urging people to kick President Donald Trump’s a** went viral, former adviser of Joe Biden, Ajay Jain Bhutoria, condemned Murthy and said hateful rhetoric should not have any place, as violence is never the answer. “As a proud Democrat, I fiercely disagree with Trump’s policies & actions—it’s our duty to call them out. But Sheela Murthy’s recent speech at ITServe Alliance crossed a line with hateful rhetoric that could incite violence against him. Disagree civilly; violence is NEVER the answer,” Bhutoria posted. The video from an event of ITServe Alliance, an IT Union, went viral as the woman was seen mocking Donald Trump and boosting the morale of the IT workers that they have nothing to worry about Trump’s immigration rules. “You know the joke that they make that immigrants do all the hard work that no other person wants to do. That’s what they talk about his poor wives who got married to him as no other American would want to be with him,” the woman said. “The fact is that the president is not god, the president is not making the laws in the country though he thinks he makes the laws.””When you go back home, stop worrying at night, when you panic and worry that means you have not become a member of ITServe; that means you don’t believe in your own power and the power of unity as an organization,” the woman said, urging people to kick Trump. The woman was identified as immigration lawyer Sheela Murthy, the founder of the Murthy Law Firm. Neither Murthy nor her firm issued any statement in the wake of the massive controversy but social media users took them to the cleaners, claiming that Murthy herself received immense opportunities in America, and how her firm files thousands of H-1B petitions.
