Epstein brought models to US on H-1B visa; personally sponsored Ghislaine Maxwell's entry in 1992

Immigration records have revealed that Jeffrey Epstein abused the H-1B visa program to bring models to the US from Eastern Europe. Ghislaine Maxwell was also brought to the US through the H-1B visa program and Epstein himself was the sponsor, an investigative report by Dallas Express claimed. Several of these models were from modeling agencies tied to Jean-Luc Brunel, the late French model scout accused by multiple women of misconduct, including sex trafficking, and alleged by accusers to have worked with Epstein. New records released in the latest batch of Epstein Files revealed that several non-US women were frequently flown to the US during the mid-2000s. These flights often departed from St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands, near Epstein’s private island, Little St. James, and landed at various destinations across the United States, the report said. H-1B visa program is a contentious issue now as America First activists claim that Indians and Chinese are robbing American jobs, as this visa program allows companies to hire foreign skills that are not adequately available in the US. Recently, Florida and Texas moved to ban employing H-1B visa holders in state agencies and universities.

The report confirmed that the records of these H-1B models indicate their limited formal education and their annual compensation was $100,000 each — at that time. The new records revealed that in 1992, Epstein personally sponsored Ghislaine Maxwell for her first long-term legal entry into the US. Maxwell was issued a physical H-1B visa by the US consulate in London on January 15, 1993, and then she entered the country via New York with an initial validity of three years. Immigration forms submitted later by Maxwell stated that she began working as a manager for J Epstein & Co on January 19, 1993. In 1995, Maxwell applied for a Green Card by filing Form I-485 in New York under the Diversity Visa program. Her Green Card was approved in early 1996. In 2002, Maxwell became a naturalized US citizen.
