Emirates has announced a major expansion of its global network with the launch of daily, year-round direct flights between Dubai and Helsinki, Finland, starting 1 October 2026, a first of its kind for air travel between the United Arab Emirates and Finland. The new service will create the only non-stop year-round air link between the two countries, opening up fresh opportunities for leisure and business travellers alike, expanding tourism, trade links and global connectivity. The route will be operated using the airline’s Airbus A350-900 aircraft, featuring Emirates’ full suite of Business, Premium Economy and Economy cabins, including the airline’s newly introduced Premium Economy product. Flight schedules have been designed to optimise connections both in and out of Dubai, making it easier for travellers from East and Southeast Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Australasia to reach Finland seamlessly.

Dubai to Helsinki flight details: Convenient daily service between UAE-Finland

Under the new schedule:

  • EK167 will depart Dubai International Airport (DXB) at approximately 08:45 AM and arrive in Helsinki–Vantaa Airport (HEL) at around 14:55 PM local time.
  • EK168 will depart Helsinki at 16:45 PM and land back in Dubai at 00:20 AM the next day.

This timing not only makes for convenient daytime departures and arrivals but also enables travellers to connect easily to other Emirates networks and partner flights. By operating as a year-round daily service, the Dubai–Helsinki flight stands apart from existing seasonal offerings, signalling strong confidence in sustained demand for travel between the UAE, Nordic countries and wider global regions. The launch comes amidst growing enthusiasm for Nordic travel destinations, with Finland repeatedly ranking high in global happiness and quality-of-life indexes. Helsinki is often described as a vibrant, design-centric city framed by nature and urban culture.
