Donald Trump stirs row after calling Rob Reiner 'tortured and struggling star' after death: 'Utterly disgraceful'

President Donald Trump stirred a row after posting a message on Truth Social following the deaths of Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele. In the post, Trump called Reiner as “a tortured and struggling, but once very talented movie director and comedy star” and referenced a condition he called “TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME” or TDS. Trump added that Reiner “was known to have driven people CRAZY by his raging obsession of President Donald J. Trump” and concluded by saying, “May Rob and Michele rest in peace.” Actor and director Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele Singer, were found dead in their Brentwood home on Sunday. According to the People, the couple was killed by their son, Nick. As per TMZ, the couple was found with their throats slit. The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) is still investigating the incident. Authorities have not released further details.Social media was not happy with how the MAGA chief reacted to the death of one of the biggest American filmmakers:

  • Trump expresses his deep enjoyment of news of the violent death of one of his critics. This is the conduct of a dangerous psychopath.
  • This is deranged even by Trump standards. And that is saying something.
  • Trump is Evil. The blind loyalty people have to him THAT’S the sickness in this country. Rob Reiner was a good and talented man who loved this Country deeply.
  • Every time a Democrat dies or go through something, Trump has nothing but negativity to say
  • The man has no empathy as it was clearly shown the day the gentleman passed out behind him
  • Trump’s gleeful mockery of a brutal double murder exposes the depths of his depravity. No empathy, only vengeance.
  • All the people crying when Charlie Kirk was killed are now agreeing with their orange savior that basically Rob Reiner asked for it because he didn’t like trump
  • Isn’t MAGA the torch bearers for evangelicals, Deep South bible thumpers and anything religious? And yet a morally & spiritually bankrupt leader of their cult can exhibit the most extreme behavior that they hate, yet let him swim endlessly in his cesspool of hate. SAD
