Donald Trump Jr ‘frustrated’ over college friend who drops his name to do business in Pakistan, Congo

Donald Trump Jr 'frustrated' over college friend who drops his name to do business in Pakistan, Congo

Donald Trump Jr is frustrated over buddy Gentry Beach who drops his name in other countries to develop businesses there.

A Texas hedge fund manager, Gentry Beach, known pretty well in business circles as he’s described as an ally of the Trump administration, has become a source of embarrassment. Beach drops the President’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr’s name at all these high-profile meetings and shows them their photos together. But now Donald Trump Jr is frustrated and raging about this and sent Beach a ‘cease and desist’ notice, Wall Street Journal reported. Beach told Journal he never received any such notice. Beach is Donald Trump Jr’s college friend who was his groomsman at his 2005 wedding. But as he boasts his connection with the First Family, the leaders of other countries are doubtful over how much of it is real. “The president of the Democratic Republic of Congo sat with a veteran U.S. diplomat recently in a hillside villa overlooking Kinshasa to resolve a question that had been troubling him. A Texas investor named Gentry Beach was regularly touring Central Africa, trying to purchase mining concessions as part of an ‘economic diplomacy’ campaign he credited to President Trump. Beach had let it be known he was friends with Donald Trump Jr., showing what senior Congolese officials described as text messages with the US president’s eldest son, and their photos together. Did he speak for the Trump administration?” the Journal report stated.”Thousands of miles away, Pakistan’s government had been asking the same question. Beach—a groomsman at Trump Jr.’s 2005 wedding—had traveled to Islamabad to meet with the prime minister, promising to invest billions of dollars mining critical minerals and building what he told reporters would be ‘some of the most high-end luxury properties that have ever existed’ in the South Asian country. ‘I’ve been very close with the Trump administration for a long time,’ he added.”When Trump Jr travels abroad, many foreign officials tell him about his friend and his interest in doing business in their countries. According to the report, Trump Jr rejected the inquiries and said he is not doing any business with Beach. Beach, however, is unfazed and he thinks he has known Donald Trump Jr for so long that both of them have information about each other — mutually destructive.
