DOJ Email Release On Musk: New files show Musk, Epstein planned island visit; daughter recalls childhood trips

Vivian Wilson recalls childhood island visits with father Elon Musk after Epstein files release: '...so dark at night'

Freshly released Jeffrey Epstein-related documents have reignited scrutiny around Elon Musk’s past associations, this time pulling in an unexpected voice from inside his own family. As emails detailing Musk’s attempted visits to Epstein’s private Caribbean island circulated online this week, his estranged daughter Vivian Wilson shared a brief but unsettling recollection from her childhood, referencing holiday travel in the same region.

The newly released files from the US Department of Justice include email exchanges between Musk and Epstein from 2012 and 2013. The correspondence shows the two communicating cordially while attempting to coordinate Musk’s visit to Epstein’s private island, Little St. James. In a December 13, 2013 email, Musk wrote, “Will be in the BVI/St Bart’s area over the holidays. Is there a good time to visit?”Epstein replied, “any day 1st – 8th . play it by ear if you want. always space for you.”After further exchanges, January 2 was tentatively selected. However, Epstein later canceled, citing scheduling conflicts.“Bad news- Unfortunately , my schedule will keep me in New York. I was really looking forward to finally spending some time together with just fun as the agenda. so i am very disappointed. Hopefully we can schedule another time in the near future,” Epstein wrote.

Wilson would have been around nine years old at the time the emails were exchanged.

Earlier emails reference parties and travel logistics

Another email chain from November 2012 shows Epstein asking Musk, “how many people will you be for the heli to island”.“Probably just Talulah and me. What day/night will be the wildest party on your island?” Musk replied, referencing his former wife Talulah Riley. On December 25, Musk followed up after Epstein encouraged him to visit again.“Do you have any parties planned? I’ve been working to the edge of sanity this year and so, once my kids head home after Christmas, I really want to hit the party scene in St Barts or elsewhere and let loose. The invitation is much appreciated, but a peaceful island experience is the opposite of what I’m looking for,” Musk wrote.Epstein responded, “Understood , I will see you on st Barth, the ratio on my island might make Talilah uncomfortable.”“Ratio is not a problem for Talulah,” Musk replied. That visit, too, ultimately fell through. “Logistics won’t work this time around,” Musk later wrote.

Vivian Wilson recalls childhood trips

As the emails spread widely online, Vivian Wilson, Musk’s estranged transgender daughter, weighed in with her own memory of childhood travel in the region.Writing on Threads, Wilson said, “There was this boat ride from St Vincent to St Barth’s I remember from when I was little. We used to visit around the holidays. I remember the sea being so dark at night.”Wilson would have been around nine years old at the time the emails were exchanged.

What remains unclear

It is not clear whether Musk ever actually visited Epstein’s private island. While the emails show multiple attempts to arrange meetings, both planned visits appear to have been canceled due to logistical or scheduling issues. The documents do not confirm that Musk ever set foot on Little St. James.Wilson is one of Musk’s children from his first marriage to author Justine Wilson. The 21-year-old has publicly distanced herself from Musk and filed a petition in 2022 to legally change her name, stating she did not want to be “related to [her] biological father in any way, shape or form.” Go to Source
