The viral clip surfaced on January 9, 2026. It showed Konvy sitting inside a car with two associates. At one point, his attention shifted to something off-camera. Moments later, what sounded like gunfire was heard. The clip spread rapidly on Reddit and X, sparking fear and confusion among fans.Later that day, Adin Ross shared an update with his audience. He said the situation was confirmed and urged viewers not to joke about it. Ross claimed that an individual named JJ had been shot and was receiving medical care. He told his viewers, “So, obviously, I don’t want anyone trolling about it, but somebody got shot, and as of right now, he’s in the hospital. And I think it was… who was he with? JJ got shot. So, JJ’s shot. All s**t aside, chat. So, prayers, and I’m getting them in a jet out here. I hope it’s not fatal. I really, really do hope it’s not. So, please, guys, that’s what’s confirmed, and all I ask is, please, you guys pray.”During a later moment in the same livestream, Adin Ross clarified JJ’s condition again. He stated clearly that JJ was alive and had not died. This came after confusion during a brief exchange with YouTuber MMA Guru. Ross said, “Chat, yeah, JJ. JJ. You know what I’m saying? That’s who is currently in the hospital right now. (YouTuber Kyle Anthony “MMA Guru” responds, ‘Oh. Okay, rest in peace, JJ.’) No, no, no, no. Bro, he has not passed away. (MMA Guru responds, ‘Okay, he’s alive. Well, get well soon, JJ. Sorry. I’m sorry! I don’t know you’re farming content.’) All st aside, prayers in the chat, bro. Let me end the fking stream.”As of now, Steven “Konvy” has not released any public statement about the alleged shooting. The situation remains unclear, and fans continue to wait for official confirmation or further updates. Also Read: Kick streamer Adin Ross and rapper Joe Budden’s beef explained after their podcast clip sparks online backlash Go to Source
