D4vd preliminary hearing: Celeste Rivas' family lawyer describes 'gruesome' crime scene photos

New details came out during singer D4vd’s preliminary hearing as Celeste Rivas’ family lawyer spoke about the graphic evidence shown in court. After the hearing, attorney Patrick Steinfeld told TMZ that the crime scene photos were extremely disturbing and very painful for Celeste’s family to see. He said the images were so shocking that Celeste’s mother cried throughout the hearing. D4vd has pleaded not guilty to all charges against him, and the allegations will continue to be examined as the case moves through the legal process.

Speaking outside the courthouse after Tuesday’s hearing, Patrick Steinfeld shared what he saw inside the courtroom. According to him, the photos shown as evidence were “gruesome” and difficult to look at. Steinfeld said the pictures were so upsetting that Celeste Rivas’ mother, Mercedes Martinez, cried during the entire hearing and never recovered from seeing the images.He also described one moment when Deputy District Attorney Beth Silverman asked an LAPD detective what one of the photos showed. According to Steinfeld, the detective replied that it was Celeste’s head. He claimed the condition of the remains was so severe that it was impossible to recognize them as a person’s body. Steinfeld also said he believes the evidence presented during the hearing is He added that, in his opinion, D4vd should receive life in prison without the possibility of parole if he is found guilty.

Prosecutors outline allegations as D4vd maintains not guilty plea

Prosecutors allege that D4vd lured Celeste Rivas to his Hollywood Hills rental home and killed her because they claim she was planning to expose their relationship. They further allege that her dismembered body was later left inside a Tesla registered to the singer.D4vd has denied all of the allegations. He has pleaded not guilty to every charge filed against him.The charges include first-degree murder with special circumstances. Prosecutors have also accused him of lying in wait, committing the crime for financial gain, murdering a witness to an investigation, lewd and lascivious sexual acts with a person under 14 years old, and mutilation of a human body.This is only the allegation of the prosecution, and there has been no verdict from any court as yet. The legal proceedings are still underway, and both sides will keep presenting their side as the case proceeds.This is where the preliminary hearing comes into play, as it gives the judge an opportunity to determine whether there is enough ground for the matter to proceed to trial. At the moment, D4vd continues to be considered innocent of all charges, as per the law, until he is convicted in a court of law.
