A clip going viral on social media has captured a harrowing scene at a Rüfüs Du Sol concert in the Rose Bowl on Saturday night, August 16, where a man savagely attacked a woman and her friends, knocking her unconscious and streaming blood from her face before vanishing into the crowd, confirmed The New York Post.In a social media post, the victim recounted the events of the evening. According to the victim, the assault erupted after her boyfriend unintentionally spilled a drink on the man, who briefly stormed away, only to return about 30 minutes later, spewing death threats. When the woman placed herself between the men, he knocked her into the bleachers and proceeded to strike her repeatedly. Two other men were also punched as bystanders intervened. “This man PUNCHED ME IN THE FACE! I was completely knocked out and there was blood pouring from my face,” the woman wrote alongside the harrowing video. Pasadena police confirmed the assault details to ABC7, stating that a formal report has been filed and that they are pursuing multiple leads to locate the unidentified attacker. The victim was treated in the venue’s medical tent and escorted back safely to her hotel later that night, she said, as quoted by the news outlet.Rüfüs Du Sol expressed heartbreak over the incident in an Instagram statement, calling the violence “completely unacceptable” and urging fans with information to contact the Pasadena police department.
