‘Come to US, go to Disney World’: Investor says his mother lost job in 2021 because of an H-1B

'Come to US, go to Disney World': Investor says his mother lost job in 2021 because of an H-1B

US Investor James Fishback says no foreigner should take a single US job.

American investor James Fishback, who worked in Elon Musk’s DOGE before emerging as a staunch critic of the country’s H-1B visa program, said the fight is personal to him as his mother lost her job in Florida and was replaced by an H-1B just weeks later. Appearing on a Fox panel, Fishback said CEOs make up this ‘slanderous like’ that there are not enough good American workers while they do not even interview a single American candidate. “CEOs complain they can’t find skilled workers in America. But under the H-1B program, they’re not even required to interview an American—not even to post the job publicly for Americans to see. So how can they say Americans aren’t skilled if you have the unmitigated gall, the unfettered intrepidity, and the unencumbered audacity to not even interview a single American worker?” the investor said. “This is personal for me: my mom was fired in 2021 from her job in Florida and replaced by an H-1B just weeks later. I reject the slanderous lie pushed by CEOs and the Chamber of Commerce that Americans are unskilled. Americans are the brightest, hardest-working, most brilliant people in the world, and we cannot apologize for it,” Fishback said on the Fox program. In another video, Fishback said America does not need a single foreigner coming to the US and take any job. “If you are a foreigner coming to America, you do not have a right to the jobs of Americans, to the homes of Americans, to the schools that our kids go to, the schools that we went to. You don’t..””You are a guest. You are free to come here and go to Disney World. There are job makers and there are job takers. And right here right now, we do not have room for a single job taker. A taker is going to take healthcare, take education, take space up in our country. Because we do not have time. We do not have space. We do not have resources for anyone other than our own,” Fishback said.
