Braden “Clavicular” is speaking out after a sudden twist in his legal case. On February 11, 2026, The New York Times reporter Joseph Bernstein shared on X that the Maricopa County Attorney had dropped the felony charges against the 20-year-old Kick streamer. The decision came just days after Clavicular was arrested near Arizona State University in Arizona on February 7, 2026. Police had accused him of using a fake ID to enter a bar while underage. Reports said he was facing two felony counts, including forgery and possession of forged instruments, along with a misdemeanor for entering an establishment as a minor with false identification. But according to Bernstein, a public information officer said there was “no reasonable likelihood of conviction,” and that is why the charges were dropped. Clavicular quickly reacted online. Quote-tweeting Bernstein’s post, he wrote, “You just gotta mog.” His response spread fast across social media, with many users sharing their own views on what happened.

After Joseph Bernstein’s post went live, Clavicular leaned into the moment. Along with his short reply, he shared a screenshot of a 2017 article that discussed how facial features might influence sentencing decisions. The study mentioned in that article suggested there could be a link between appearance and how harsh a punishment is.Online reactions came in quickly. One Reddit user wrote, “Not surprising. Whatever you think about him, as far as I know this was his first offense. They were not putting a first time offending 20 year old in jail for eight years for a fake ID to get into a bar.” Another commented, “Good for him.” Others made jokes using slang tied to Clavicular’s online persona.Just a day before the charges were dropped, on February 10, 2026, Clavicular spoke about his legal fight during a Kick stream. He claimed he had spent around $100,000 on lawyers. He described his legal team by saying, “I basically hired the New York Yankees of lawyers. I have spent probably $100,000 on legal retainers easily this week. So, yeah, it is going pretty well with that. We will figure it out.”Earlier in the month, on February 3, 2026, Clavicular had already gone viral after a livestream involving his girlfriend Violet and TikToker Jenny Popach drew attention online. That moment added to the spotlight around him before his arrest even happened. Now, with the felony charges officially dropped by the Maricopa County Attorney, Clavicular is no longer facing the serious counts that first made headlines.
