Streamer Dalton Eatherly, better known online as ChudTheBuilder, was reportedly involved in a shooting incident outside a courthouse in Clarksville, Tennessee, on Wednesday afternoon. Early reports shared across social media claimed that a man allegedly confronted the streamer before a gun accidentally went off during the situation. According to those reports, the bullet reportedly grazed ChudTheBuilder’s body. However, police have not officially confirmed what exactly happened, and many details are still unclear. So far, the Clarksville Police Department has not released an official statement about the shooting or the alleged attack. Authorities have also not confirmed whether anyone else was injured during the incident. Because of that, several claims currently spreading online remain unverified. The story quickly gained attention online after popular X account FearBuck shared updates about the situation. The account claimed the incident may have started after an argument involving racist remarks. According to the post, ChudTheBuilder allegedly told another man he was going to “chimp out,” which reportedly led to the man punching him in the face. FearBuck then claimed the streamer accidentally fired the gun during the confrontation.Photos shared online showed ChudTheBuilder being helped into what appeared to be a police ambulance outside the courthouse. Still, no official report has confirmed whether the shooting happened exactly as social media users described it. HT.com also reported that it could not independently verify the claims being shared online.

Dalton Eatherly shooting reports come days after Nashville restaurant arrest

The courthouse incident came only days after Dalton Eatherly was arrested at a Bob’s ChopHouse restaurant in Nashville. Reports claimed the streamer refused to pay his bill after dining there, which led to police involvement. After the arrest, ChudTheBuilder posted several messages online explaining his side of the situation. He claimed authorities questioned him for more than two hours and also took his phone during the investigation. In one social media post, he said he spent over 13 hours in federal custody. His post read: “Phones seized as ‘evidence of the crime.’ No way of contacting anyone. Just got back to my Airbnb after 13 hours in custody for leaving a restaurant when I was asked to. Bobs ChopHouse. FBI and domestic terrorist detective interviewed me for about 2 hours before they took me for booking, asking if I was part of some organization. ‘No sir I’m just a dude with a camera.’”ChudTheBuilder is known for livestreaming content on Kick, where he has built a large following. The latest courthouse incident has now created even more attention around the streamer, especially as people wait for police to confirm what actually happened. At this point, several details about the Clarksville courthouse shooting remain uncertain. Authorities have not officially confirmed the reported attack, the alleged racist exchange, or how the gun was fired. More information is expected once police release an official update on the case.
