Candace Owens has once again brought up the mystery around Charlie Kirk, and this time her comments are sharper and more direct. In new posts on X and in her podcast, she questioned what happened after his death and also took fresh digs at Erika Kirk. At the same time, she accused Turning Point USA of using misleading footage on television. None of her claims have been proven so far.
Candace Owens questions Charlie Kirk cremation and criticizes Erika Kirk absence at JD Vance event
Candace Owens posted a short but serious question on X, writing, “Was Charlie Kirk cremated?” She did not explain why she asked this, but it quickly got attention online.On her podcast, she also spoke about Erika Kirk missing a public event with JD Vance. Owens said, “Shabbat Shalom! Mommy stayed home. Because of… threats? That’s Erika’s story and she’s sticking to it.” This comes after Erika Kirk did not attend a planned event at the University of Georgia, where JD Vance appeared alone. JD Vance said she stayed away due to threats, but no details were shared.Owens also repeated earlier claims linked to the day Charlie Kirk died in September 2025. She said, “The ATF traced a mysterious gun on the morning of September 10th… a TPUSA faith Pastor and friend of Erika Kirk tried to buy his company.” She did not provide proof for this claim. So far, no official report has confirmed any of these statements.
Candace Owens accuses Turning Point USA of fake footage and repeats Charlie GPT theory
In another strong claim, Candace Owens said Turning Point USA used edited video on Fox News. She said the group mixed old clips to hide that JD Vance spoke to an empty room.Her exact claim was that the footage was changed to create a different picture of the event. Turning Point USA has not responded publicly to this accusation.Owens also brought back her earlier “Charlie GPT” theory. She said, “There was a plot to remove Charlie and then to use Charlie GPT to convince the world that it was… Charlie’s dying wish for his wife to replace him.”She added that donors reached out to her and claimed an audio clip of Charlie Kirk supporting Erika Kirk was fake. According to Owens, those donors said Charlie never made that statement at an Aspen event.She also mentioned a personal concern about Erika Kirk’s connection with Ben Shapiro, saying she had “a troubling sense of evil”, but again, she gave no evidence. None of these claims have been confirmed by officials, investigators, or Turning Point USA.
