The victim, da Silva, was thrown off his bike, hit a metal pole, and later died in hospital after cardiac arrest. Authorities said the sentence was to be served under a semi-open regime, meaning she would have been allowed to work or study during the day but required to return to a controlled facility at night. However, before reporting to serve her sentence, she reportedly left the country.Police have now confirmed she is being treated as a fugitive. Her name has been added to Brazil’s National Register of Arrest Warrants, and Interpol has also been notified to help track her location.
