Ajman’s ban, what it covers
Ajman Police has officially prohibited the use of all types of electric scooters — both privately owned and rented — on all public roads and streets within the emirate. The decision, which is effective immediately, is aimed at addressing the increasing number of traffic violations and potential hazards involving e-scooter riders.The police emphasized that the measure is not just regulatory but a public safety initiative, urging residents to avoid riding in unauthorised areas. The joint effort aims to improve compliance, reduce accidents, and make the streets safer for all.
