The situation turned tense on April 9, 2026, when Alex Jones reacted strongly to fresh comments from U.S. President Donald Trump. The remarks came after Trump publicly called out several conservative voices, including Jones, during a post on his platform Truth Social. The reaction quickly spread online, especially after Jones shared a video on X explaining how he felt about it.In that video, Jones sounded disappointed more than angry. He told viewers that Trump had “attacked myself and all the original MAGA supporters today.” He also added, “I’m just so sad that whatever’s happened to him has totally changed the man he once was.” His response gave a clear sense that this was not just political disagreement, but something more personal, especially considering his past support for Trump.

Alex Jones questions Donald Trump’s recent statements and raises concerns over Melania Trump’s remarks

The issue started when Donald Trump criticized voices like Jones, along with Candace Owens, Megyn Kelly, and Tucker Carlson. He questioned their credibility and dismissed their opinions. His post included strong words, saying, “They’re stupid people, they know it, their families know it, and everyone else knows it, too.”Jones connected this moment to something else that happened just hours earlier. According to him, Melania Trump had spoken publicly about the Jeffrey Epstein case and supported further investigation. Jones pointed out a clear difference in tone between the two.“Apparently Trump didn’t know,” Jones said in his video. “She said she supports a full investigation by Congress in the Epstein cover-up. Trump says, ‘Epstein’s a hoax.’”From there, Jones widened his concerns. He said, “Trump’s got big problems, folks, and I am just so concerned about this country and the world.” He also spoke about his past support, making it clear he once believed in Trump’s leadership.“I supported the old Trump and got so many good things done,” he said. But now, his tone has changed. He added, “At the end of the day, I just feel sorry for him.”Jones even went further, saying he could not stay silent anymore. “I have to come out against it. It’s just that simple,” he explained. He also questioned Trump’s direction on global matters, especially regarding tensions in the Middle East.Despite everything, Jones said he still wants to be honest with his audience. “This is a terrible day and it’s a nightmare for America and the world, but I’m gonna tell the truth and report the facts no matter what it is.” Go to Source
