NEW DELHI: The Delhi high court on Tuesday suspended the jail term of expelled BJP leader Kuldeep Singh Sengar, who is serving life imprisonment in the Unnao rape case, news agency PTI reported. The court passed the order on Sengar’s plea seeking bail on medical grounds. Sengar was convicted in December 2019 for raping a minor girl in Uttar Pradesh’s Unnao district in June 2017 and was sentenced to life imprisonment.(More details awaited)
