Two Army personnel killed as vehicle plunges into ditch in Arunachal Pradesh

Two Army personnel, including a Naib Subedar, were killed after their vehicle plunged into a ditch in Arunachal Pradesh’s Upper Subansiri district, according to a defence official cited by PTI.The accident occurred on March 7 near Reddi village, close to the India–China border, while the vehicle was travelling from Gelemo to Taksing for operational duty under Operation Snow Leopard.The soldiers were identified as Naib Subedar Kulwant Singh of the 908 Field Regiment under the 56 Artillery Brigade and Naik Pradeep Kumar Sharma of the 18 Sikh Regiment, a resident of Rae Bareli in Uttar Pradesh.Driver Amarjeet Gujjar, also from the 908 Field Regiment, suffered minor injuries and is being treated at the Field Hospital in Borarupak. Officials said he is out of danger.
