Take nation into confidence, Congress tells government

AICC spokesperson Pawan Khera

NEW DELHI: Stating that there has been no official word from the govt on the Red Fort blast despite the passage of 24 hours since the incident, Congress Tuesday said Centre must take nation into their confidence on the incident and scotch the myriad theories in circulation. AICC spokespersons Pawan Khera and Supriya Shrinate said there is no clarity yet on whether the Red Fort incident was an “attack”, referring to the perception that there was a terror angle to the incident. “There is no clarity from govt, home ministry, Delhi Police,” they said, adding that there should be a presser by the home minister, home secretary or the Delhi Police commissioner to share information that can be made available.
