PUNE/NAVI MUBAI: Probe into the abduction of a heavy vehicle’s helper by an SUV driver during a road rage incident in Navi Mumbai on Saturday found that dismissed IAS officer Puja Khedkar’s father, Dilip Khedkar, a retired state govt officer, was in the SUV, police said. Both he and his chauffeur have absconded in the SUV, a Navi Mumbai police officer added. The helper was rescued on Sunday from Khedkar’s Pune bungalow, where police reached based on the SUV’s number. A case has been filed against Puja’s mother Manorama for not allowing Navi Mumbai police to enter the bungalow for over an hour.
