Musiri Assembly Results 2026: DMK’s N. S. Karunairaaja vs AIADMK’s N. Yoganathan vs TVK’s N. Vignesh in Musiri

The DMK has fielded N. S. Karunairaaja from Musiri assembly constituency for the 2026 Tamil Nadu assembly elections, setting up a three-cornered contest against AIADMK’s N. Yoganathan and TVK’s N. Vignesh.Musiri Assembly constituency is located in the Tiruchirappalli district of Tamil Nadu.The constituency has historically seen a balanced competition between the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) and the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK).In the 2021 Assembly elections, DMK’s N. Thiyagarajan won the seat by securing 90,624 votes. He defeated AIADMK’s M. Selvarasu, who secured 63,788 votes.

Election Results 2026

The margin of victory stood at 26,836 votes. In the 2016 Assembly elections, the constituency had a total of 2,15,420 electors. AIADMK’s M. Selvarasu won the seat with 76,049 votes, defeating Congress (INC) candidate S. Vijaya Babu, who secured 66,262 votes.The margin of victory was 9,787 votes. In the 2011 Assembly elections, AIADMK’s N. R. Sivapathi won the seat with 82,472 votes, defeating DMK’s M. Rajasekharan, who secured 53,181 votes. The margin of victory stood at 29,291 votes.
