MP Baluni narrowly escapes landslide

BJP MP from Garhwal Lok Sabha constituency and party chief spokesperson Anil Baluni and the team accompanying him had a narrow escape from a landslide while he was touring the disaster-hit areas of his constituency. A video of the incident went viral on the social media on Thursday.The video, posted by Baluni on X, shows him and his team scurrying for safety as debris rained down over a large area. “This sight conveys the extreme gravity of the natural disaster that has hit our Uttarakhand,” he said, adding that the deep wounds inflicted by landslides and heavy rains on the hilly state will take a long time to heal. He described the incident as terrifying and thanked disaster response officials for their efforts to clear the roads under challenging circumstances.
