Govt announces key bureaucratic reshuffle: Bihar cadre IAS Chanchal Kumar appointed new I&B secretary

NEW DELHI: The government has ordered a reshuffle of senior bureaucrats, making several key appointments across departments. Bihar cadre IAS officer Chanchal Kumar has been named the new secretary in the ministry of information and broadcasting.Abhishek Singh, currently director general of the national informatics centre (NIC), has been appointed as the new director general of the national testing agency (NTA).Rohit Kansal of UT cadre will be special secretary in rural development ministry.IAS officer Vikram Yadav was appointed as the director general of the directorate general of civil aviation, ministry of civil aviation.The current I&B Secretary has been reassigned as secretary in the ministry of development of north eastern region (DoNER).
