NEW DELHI: India has sufficient stock of fertilisers and govt is working to ensure supply remains intact, Union agriculture minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said Friday.“Whenever there is war, it’s a crisis for the entire world and has a direct and indirect impact on every country. I will not say there is no problem. But we have done all preparations to deal with it. As of today, we have adequate stock of fertilisers. Currently we are not worried and are working on plans to ensure it remains sufficient,” Chouhan said.He stressed govt will leave no stone unturned to ensure options remain available even during a prolonged conflict.Chouhan said there is a need to reduce burden on people in agriculture as landholdings are small, but noted many young people using technology are turning to farming. “Many farmers have doubled their income. Some have even tripled or quadrupled it,” he added.
