The Supreme Court will on Monday take up a petition filed by climate activist Sonam Wangchuk’s wife, Gitanjali J. Angmo, challenging his detention under the National Security Act (NSA). Angmo argues that the detention is unlawful, arbitrary, and violates Wangchuk’s fundamental rights.The case is scheduled to be heard by a bench of Justices Aravind Kumar and N.V. Anjaria.
