The Supreme Court on Friday allowed the return of sterilised stray dogs to their original locations while banning feeding them in public places, directing municipal bodies to create designated feeding zones in every ward. This comes days after an alleged assassination attempt during a Jan Sunvai at her Civil Lines office. The accused in that attack, identified as Sakariya Rajeshbhai from Gujarat, had a criminal record and allegedly planned the strike, raising fears of a larger conspiracy.
