The Supreme Court on Friday allowed the return of sterilised stray dogs to their original locations while banning feeding them in public places, directing municipal bodies to create designated feeding zones in every ward. In another ruling, the court questioned political parties’ silence on voter deletions and permitted online claims for excluded voters in Bihar using Aadhaar or 11 other ID documents.Furthermore, security concerns grew as Delhi CM Rekha Gupta faced another disruption days after an alleged assassination attempt at her office. This comes days after an alleged assassination attempt during a Jan Sunvai at her Civil Lines office. The accused in that attack, identified as Sakariya Rajeshbhai from Gujarat, had a criminal record and allegedly planned the strike, raising fears of a larger conspiracy. Gupta later said on X that the attack was a “cowardly attempt” but vowed to continue serving Delhi.
