Centre offers extra commercial LPG as government says supply concerns persist

The Centre said it has offered all states and Union Territories an additional 10% allocation of commercial LPG if they support a long-term shift from LPG to PNG, as concerns over supply continue amid the Middle East crisis. The petroleum ministry said domestic LPG production has risen 40%, online bookings have improved to 93%, and home deliveries now cover 81% of cylinders. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said his government will seek water royalty from Rajasthan, claiming Rs 1.44 lakh crore remains unpaid since 1960 under a 1920 tripartite agreement.
