India and Italy on Wednesday announced elevation ties to a Special Strategic Partnership during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Rome, with both countries unveiling a Joint Strategic Action Plan for 2025-2029 focused on trade, technology and innovation. “Technology and innovation are engines of our partnership. Kerala portfolio allocation: CM Satheesan keeps 35 ministries

Kerala governor Rajendra Arlekar approved the portfolio allocation recommended by chief minister VD Satheesan, the Lok Bhavan said, two days after the Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) government was sworn in. The UDF returned to power in Kerala after a decade, defeating the Left Democratic Front (LDF) in the April 9 assembly elections. ‘Not a pandemic emergency’: WHO warns of high local Ebola risk, says global threat is low
