BrahMos scientist Nishant Agarwal was acquitted of major charges in a case involving alleged leaks to Pakistani intelligence, while actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu married ‘The Family Man’ director Raj Nidimoru in a private ceremony in Coimbatore, In Parliament, opposition parties walked out of the Rajya Sabha demanding a debate on the Special Investment Region (SIR) issue. A lower court had earlier sentenced him to 14 years in prison for allegedly using IT systems to transmit classified information to adversaries.
