Death of 26 BLOs over last 20 days 'murder' by BJP brass, CEC: Congress

Calling the death of 26 BLOs over the last 20 days “murder” by BJP brass and CEC, Congress on Thursday alleged that the governing party is seeking to divert attention from “blatant vote chori” by peddling lies about the location of social media ‘X’ handles linked to Congress, arguing that BJP handles too are shown as located in foreign countries like Gujarat BJP in Ireland and DD News in the US. The core issue before the country is the “hasty SIR” ordered by the chief election commissioner (CEC) which is resulting in work pressure and harassment of block officers to delete votes of certain social groups, the party alleged.
