'CM face for RJD': Congress not in favour of Tejashwi Yadav? Big remark by party ahead of Bihar polls

NEW DELHI: Congress leader Udit Raj on Tuesday said that Bihar opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav was not INDIA bloc’s chief ministerial face and the name for the top post would be decided collectively.”Tejashwi Yadav may be CM face for RJD but INDIA bloc’s CM face will be decided collectively,” he said. Tejashwi Yadav has not commented on this. However, on Monday after the EC announced poll dates, he said that “every Bihari will be a CM this time, they will be CM – change maker.””People of Bihar want change. They want the Govt of Mahagathbandhan this time. Mahagathbandhan will form the Govt…When Tejashwi becomes the CM, there will be no house in Bihar which will have unemployed youth. When Tejashwi comes, he will give jobs to everyone. Unemployment will be rooted out of Bihar. A festival begins today…With Tejashwi, every Bihari will be a CM this time, they will be CM – Change Maker…, he had said.Criticising Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, he said, “For 20 years, they gave crime, corruption, bureaucracy, tyranny and scam to the state. People of Bihar are done with this. CM is not in his senses. We don’t want a CM who pleads, we want a CM who roars like a lion. Someone who can fight for the rights of the people of Bihar and get them justice. 14th Nov date will be written in golden letters in history.”The 243 assembly seats is set to go to the polls in two phases on November 6 and November 11 with counting of votes to be held on November 14.
