NEW DELHI: National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) has taken up the issue of alleged advertisements linked to child sexual exploitative and abuse material (CSAM) with Meta and has instituted an inquiry to determine the facts of the matter.Persons in the know said NCPCR had taken note of a media report that alleged the presence of advertisements related to CSAM on the company’s platforms. The the child rights body sought an explanation from Meta regarding the allegations and the company submitted its response about a week later.
