NITI Aayog new CEO Anurag Jain
NEW DELHI: The Centre on Wednesday appointed Anurag Jain, a 1989-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer from the Madhya Pradesh cadre, as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NITI Aayog, the government’s apex public policy think tank.The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved Jain’s appointment as CEO of NITI Aayog, effective from the date he assumes charge of the post, according to an official statement. The statement said Jain will continue in the role for two years thereafter, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
