The RJD-led Mahagathbandhan followed closely with 38.3%, while Prashant Kishor’s new party, Jan Suraaj, emerged third with 13.3% voter preference. In Maharashtra, exit polls had predicted a close contest but suggested that the BJP-led Mahayuti alliance would hold a slight advantage over the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA). Pollsters largely expected the ruling alliance to retain power, though not by a wide margin. In Delhi, most surveys forecasted a strong lead for the BJP, with a few suggesting a relatively better performance for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). Overall, pollsters agreed that the BJP would dominate the capital’s political landscape once again. In Haryana and Jharkhand, predictions leaned the other way. Exit polls had tipped Congress to win in Haryana, while in Jharkhand they projected a tight race between the BJP-led alliance and the JMM-led INDIA bloc.
