NEW DELHI: In a shocker, intruders allegedly barged into a hotel in Gurgaon sector 42 where 4-5 cabin crew of Air India were staying on Wednesday (Oct 15) night. They were allegedly threatened to remain silent as they were robbed. Air India says immediately after the same was reported to the airline, the staffers were shifted to another hotel. An AI spokesperson said: “We are deeply concerned by an unfortunate incident of intrusion and theft at a Gurugram hotel where some of our crew colleagues were staying during a training programme. Crew safety is a top priority at Air India and as an immediate precaution, the affected colleagues have been relocated to another hotel, whilst our teams remain available to them to provide any required support. Air India is cooperating closely with local law enforcement authorities and will ensure the matter is pursued with due legal recourse. Crew travel and accommodation arrangements at Air India are guided by robust policies to ensure the highest standards of safety and comfort and is reviewed regularly based on feedback from our colleagues.
