’25 lakh vote chori in Haryana’: Rahul Gandhi drops ‘H files’; alleges state, national level theft

'25 lakh vote chori in Haryana': Rahul Gandhi drops 'H files'; alleges state, national level theft

NEW DELHI: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday launched a broadside against Bharatiya Janata Party and accused it of tampering with mandate in Haryana assembly elections. In a press conference, Rahul claimed theft of 25 lakh votes in Haryana, says it includes 5.21 lakh duplicate voters, 93,174 invalid voters and 19.26 lakh bulk voters. He added that one in eight voters in Haryana electoral list were fake.”We have the word ‘H’ Files and this is about how an entire state has been stolen. We suspected that this is not happening in individual constituencies, but at the state level and at the national level,” Rahul said. “We got a lot of complaints in Haryana, from our candidates, that something was wrong and not working. Their predictions all went upside down. We had experienced this in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra but we decided to zoom into Haryana and go into details about what had happened there,” he added.Rahul accused Election Commission and BJP of hatching a conspiracy to “convert landslide victory into a loss””I want the young people, GenZ of India to understand this clearly because this is about your future. I am questioning the EC, democractic process in India so I am doing it with 100% proof,” Rahul said “We are pretty sure that a plan was put in motion to convert Congress’ landslide victory into a loss. All (exit) polls pointed to a Congress victory in Haryana,” he added.During the press conference, the Congress leader claimed that a lady, who turned out to be a Brazilian model, voted 22 times at 10 different booths with different names in the Haryana assembly elections,”Who is this lady? What is her name? Where does she come from?” Rahul asked. “But she votes 22 times in Haryana, at 10 different booths, and has multiple names: Seema, Sweety, Saraswati, Rashmi, Vilma… But turns out she is actually a Brazilian model,” he added.(This is a developing story)
