Zendaya announces plans to 'DISAPPEAR' from Hollywood in 2027; says 'I just hope you guys don't get sick of me'

After an unusually busy year with five major back-to-back projects lined up, Zendaya has revealed her plans to ‘disappear’ from Hollywood for a short time next year. The actress, who is currently promoting her first film of the year, ‘The Drama’, got candid about her list of four films and a web series lined up for their release. Zendaya to ‘disappear’ from Hollywood in 2027“I just hope you guys don’t get sick of me this year,” the actor said in an interview with Fandango. Acknowledging her heavy on-screen presence in the months ahead she added, “Because I’ll tell you what, after this, I’m disappearing for a little bit. I’m going to have to go into hiding for just a little bit.”

Zendaya’s upcoming films

The announcement comes as Zendaya nears the end of ‘The Drama’ press tour, but still has a list of projects ahead. She will be seen in the long-awaited third season of ‘Euphoria’, ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’, ‘The Odyssey’, and ‘Dune: Part Three’. During the chat, the actress also notified that her co-star, Robert Pattinson also has a similar schedule. Besides ‘The Drama’, he will also be seen in Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Odyssey’ and will join the final chapter of the ‘Dune’ saga in a new role. However, the actor will continue his filming schedules with ‘The Batman Part II’ slated for 2027.Tom Holland to take a break in 2027Meanwhile, Zendaya’s rumoured husband, Tom Holland, also shared similar plans to take time off in 2027. In an interview with British GQ, Holland spoke about the importance of avoiding burnout in the film industry. He said, “What I’ve learnt is that it’s important to set boundaries — to be mindful about overworking.” While noting that he had a busy 2026 with three film releases, he shared, “I’ll probably take a bit more time off in 2027. We’ll see.”The couple, who reportedly got engaged in January, are set to share the screen in two upcoming films: ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ and ‘The Odyssey’.
