Zendaya addresses Tom Holland marriage rumours

Zendaya reveals why she will not confirm Tom Holland marriage rumours; says 'I have my own little boundaries'

Those waiting for Zendaya to confirm those marriage rumours, may just have to wait a tad longer. The actress, who has spent weeks dodging buzz about her alleged marriage to her longtime love and ‘Spider-Man’ co-star, Tom Holland, revealed why she has chosen not to confirm or deny the buzz of a secret marriage.Zendaya on fan interest in her personal relationshipsThe actress, who has been out and about promoting her movie ‘The Drama’, made an appearance on The New York Times’ Modern Love podcast, where she addressed the public interest in her personal life. She said, “I just feel like for me there is a level of a parasocial investment in my personal relationship, which I understand. I’m aware that I’m a public person and so is he, and I’m also aware that we’ve grown up in front of people and we’ve done movies where we fall in love with each other, so I really do understand that, and I don’t want to dismiss that like, ‘Stay out of my business’ or whatever.”While acknowledging the curiosity around her personal life, especially with the ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ hunk, Zendaya said, “I hear it, but I also [have] my own little boundaries of what I like to bring up and talk about, but then also what I’m also willing to share, you know? I just try to find the balance in the middle there.”Zendaya on valuing her privacyWhile she has been flaunting her large engagement ring and also sporting a wedding ring on her finger, Zendaya opened up in the chat about her preference for maintaining privacy. She said, “In a lot of ways, I’m also a very private person and I try my best to be able to have things for myself and for him as well.”In a separate interaction with the Associated Press at the Los Angeles premiere of ‘The Drama’, the actress elaborated on her approach to privacy. She said, “There’s a balance between hiding and then also just, like, living your life and enjoying your life and protecting things that are special to yourself. And I think everyone kind of has to do that in some way.”Zendaya and Tom Holland’s upcoming filmsOn the work front, the rumoured husband-wife duo will take over the big screens in the upcoming films ‘The Odyssey’ and ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’. Both films are slated to be released in July. Zendaya will also be seen in ‘Dune: Part Three’ and the hit web series ‘Euphoria’ Season 3.
