Yash’s Toxic runtime revealed ahead of its clash with Dhurandhar 2

Yash starrer 'Toxic's runtime revealed ahead of its clash with Ranveer Singh - Aditya Dhar's 'Dhurandhar 2' - Reports

‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups’ gears up for a box office clash with ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ on March 19, both boasting 3+ hour runtimes (~3h20m for Toxic). Trailer drops March 8 in Bengaluru. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Yash leads with Kiara Advani, Nayanthara; following hits like ‘Animal’.

The box office fight between ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ and ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups’ will be one of 2026’s biggest movie battles. Both films release on March 19, and excitement is already very high. New reports suggest ‘Toxic’ will also have a long runtime. It is expected to run more than 3 hours. This is close to Dhurandhar 2’s length of about 3 hours and 40 minutes. Both are big movies with significant scale and screen time.

‘Toxic’ runtime details

According to Bollywood Hungama, Toxic’s final length is yet to be locked, but it comes to around 200 minutes, or 3 hours and 20 minutes. The makers feel the film has enough entertainment and mass-appealing moments so the audience won’t get bored or restless. Previously, a long film would often lead to a negative perception. But it all changed with ‘Animal’ (2023). It was 3 hours and 21 minutes long and ran very successfully. Recently, ‘Border 2’ (2026) was released with a runtime of 3 hours and 19 minutes. Not to forget, the duration of Dhurandhar’s (2026) first part was 3 hours and 34 minutes. All these films were huge hits and it remains to be seen if ‘Toxic’ also follows suit.

‘Toxic’ trailer launch

Meanwhile, the makers have officially announced that Toxic’s trailer will drop on March 8 in Bengaluru, building up the excitement just days before its cinema release.

‘Toxic’ cast and crew

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film shows Yash in a totally new and strong role. The story is kept secret. Posters and teasers show him looking rough and thoughtful, which interests fans. The film features Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, and Huma Qureshi in important roles. Produced by Venkat K Narayana and Yash from KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, Toxic is set as a fast-paced movie for theaters.
