The Kannada star connected with a fan who is currently undergoing cancer treatment.

A video on X (formerly Twitter) shared by a fan shows the actor speaking with Sunil on a video call.The actor chatted with Sunil, the Shivamogga district president of his fan association. As per an Indian Today report, Sunil is reportedly battling rectal cancer and is receiving treatment. Yash’s call came as a pleasant surprise to him and his family.While speaking with the fan, Yash enquired about Sunil’s health and wellbeing. He also talked with warmth and wished him well as he fights against his illness. The ‘KGF’ star also interacted with Sunil’s family members and spent some time understanding his condition.Interestingly, in the report, Yash recalled Sunil’s long association with his fan clubs and remembered his active participation in fan activities over the years. He also assured him support during his treatment.On the work front, Yash has two large scale projects in his pipeline. One remains his much anticipated gangster action drama, ‘Toxic’ directed by Geetu Mohandas. The film has been delayed multiple times with fans eagerly waiting for a Yash outing since the actor was last seen in ‘KGF 2’ which hit the big screen in 2022.

The film was announced to release in theatres on March 19 but got postponed after makers citing the tension in the Middle East being the reason for the delay. Later they announced it to release on June 4, however, it again got pushed ahead. As of now the makers are yet to share the revised date.

Yash in ‘Ramayana’

On the other hand, he will be seen in the mythological epic, ‘Ramayana’ directed by Nitesh Tiwari, starring Ranbir Kappor as Lord Ram and Sai Pallavi as Sita. In the film Yash will be playing the character of Ravana. The first part is announced for a Diwali 2022 release.
