Although the actors didn’t name a single event, per Entertainment Weekly, the tension has been pretty evident in ‘Heated Rivalry’s fandom spaces. The show’s wild popularity brought a wave of excitement and plenty of speculation about the actors’ private lives. Some fans crossed the line, obsessing over who’s dating whom, picking apart sexualities, and even making up rumors about secret romances between cast members. Turns out, Arnaud suggested the idea; “It was Francois’ idea, and I helped write it! I don’t scroll comments, so I did not see the hate. I was vibing watching figure skating highlights,” Williams explained.
