According to reports, the actor experienced severe chest pain at his residence during the early hours of the morning and was rushed to Apollo Hospital in Kumaraswamy Layout. However, despite medical attention, he could not be revived.Known for his memorable work in Kannada television, theatre, and cinema, Dileep Raj had carved a special place in the hearts of audiences over the years. His last social media post was linked to the release of his film ‘Nimma Vasthugalige Neeve Javaabdaararu’, which hit theatres in January 2025.Sharing the movie’s poster on Instagram, Dileep Raj had urged viewers to support the film by booking tickets and watching it on the big screen. Although ‘Nimma Vasthugalige Neeve Javaabdaararu’ reportedly received encouraging reviews from viewers, the film struggled commercially during its theatrical run.
