When Tabu’s sister Farah slapped Chunky, threatened Anil Kapoor

When Tabu's sister Farah Naaz slapped Chunky Pandey, threatened Anil Kapoor reportedly; she was married to Vindu Dara Singh

Farah Naaz who is Tabu’s sister was one of the popular actresses in the 80s and 90s. She worked in movies like ‘Naseeb Apna Apna’, ‘Yateem’, ‘Khuda Gawah’ among others. During her career, she shared screen space with some of Bollywood’s biggest stars from Rajesh Khanna, Dharmendra, Rishi Kapoor, Vinod Khanna, Mithun Chakraborty, Sanjay Dutt, Anil Kapoor, Raj Babbar, Govinda, Aamir Khan, Sunny Deol, Rahul Roy, Kumar Gaurav, and many more. While her career looked promising,it did not have the longevity. One of the reasons often cited for her decline was her fiery temper. Farah was known for her blunt remarks and fearless attitude, traits that sometimes landed her in controversy. In fact, she once slapped co-star Chunky Panday on the sets of ‘Kasam Vardi Ki’ (1989). The incident occurred after Chunky cracked a joke that didn’t sit well with Farah, and her reaction—slapping him—left everyone on set stunned. The episode soon snowballed into a controversy that made headlines, according to reports.Chunky Pandey may have faced her wrath once, but he certainly wasn’t the only one. That same year, Farah Naaz created another storm when she publicly lashed out at Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit. The controversy erupted after their film Rakhwala tanked at the box office, and rumours spread that Anil had wanted Madhuri to replace Farah in the project. On hearing this, Farah didn’t hold back—she openly shamed Anil and Madhuri and even went as far as threatening to beat him. The episode severely dented her reputation, pushing it to an all-time low. Anil reportedly remarked that the film “would have worked if Madhuri Dixit was cast opposite him.” The statement angered Farah, who didn’t hold back and openly threatened Anil in response, as per reports that time and according to Bollywood Shadis. As far as her personal life is concerned, Farah married Dara Singh’s son Vindu Darah Singh in 1996 after a whirlwind romance. The couple welcomed their son, Fateh Randhawa, in 1997. However, the couple got divorced in 2003 and the custody of their son went to Farah. Farah has been away from the limelight for many years now. She is last remembered for her role in ‘Hulchul’ which starred Akshaye Khanna, Kareena Kapoor Khan.
