When Farhan spoke about working together with Hrithik

When Farhan Akhtar spoke about working together with Hrithik Roshan after 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara'

As Farhan Akhtar prepares for the release of his massive war epic ‘120 Bahadur’, let’s take a throwback moment from 2024 that will delight the fans of ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’. In an interview with Pinkvilla that year, Farhan revealed that he and Hrithik Roshan frequently discuss the possibility of teaming up again. According to the filmmaker-actor, the two meet often and their conversations “all the time” touch upon working together once more.Farhan acknowledged the tremendous anticipation surrounding their reunion and admitted that he shares the same excitement. However, he stressed that the collaboration can only move forward when the “right story” arrives—something meaningful enough to justify bringing the duo back on screen. He even hinted that such a project might materialise “within a year or two,” further fueling speculation among fans.

ZNMD sequel hopes still alive

When asked about the possibility of a sequel to Zoya Akhtar’s cult classic Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Farhan admitted that the entire team shares the audience’s enthusiasm. Calling it “a loved film,” he said the desire to revisit the world and characters is mutual. But once again, he emphasised that all of them want the sequel to happen only when a story worthy of the original is ready.

‘120 Bahadur’ set for historic release

Meanwhile, Farhan Akhtar’s upcoming film 120 Bahadur is making headlines for an unprecedented release plan. The film is set to become the first in history to be screened across India’s defence theatre network, reaching over 800 cinema halls catering to the country’s military community. The film opens on November 21.120 Bahadur’ is based on the legendary Battle of Rezang La during the 1962 Indo-China conflict. The story shows the valour of the 120 soldiers of Charlie Company, 13 Kumaon Regiment, who fought at an altitude of over 16,000 feet in Ladakh. Overall the expectations are quite high for the movie.
